​Enhance your skill set by incorporating skincare into your treatment offerings, ensuring your clients experience unparalleled satisfaction after receiving this high standard, luxurious and express facial. Whilst Dermalogica products will be used during training in the academy, you will be equipped with the knowledge to select the ideal facial products and range tailored to your clients' needs and also your business. Receive 5 star training from our award winning therapists and educators including ongoing training support and business advice. All courses are carried out on a 1:1 or 1:2 educator to student basis to ensure the best learning opportunities.

This one-day accredited training session will cover essential skills, including:

 

  • Completing thorough client consultations

  • Understanding skin analysis

  • Selecting suitable products for different skin types

  • Anatomy & Physiology

  • Performing a luxury & express facial routine (30 & 60 minutes)

  • Steaming, extractions and warm towels

  • Face, shoulder and neck massage

  • Applying various cleansers, face masks, exfoliators, serums and moisturisers

  • Five star touches that replicate award winning therapists

  • Further skincare treatment training options

  • Business support and ideas

  • Skincare aftercare

​Students will be required to practice on a live model or on other students for certain aspects of the course, as well as on beauty training aids. You may be required to have the treatment during training so if you have undergone any aesthetic treatments, a waiting period of approximately four weeks is necessary before receiving a facial. Please ensure your availability for practical work, or inform us if you will need to bring a model. Additionally, you will need to continue practicing at home and document your progress through 3 case studies to obtain your certification. All students will be required to wear scrubs, tunic or black clothing with hair tied up to comply with health and safety standards.

Suitable for those with a Level 2 Beauty Therapy or a Basic skincare qualification. Ideal for those who are looking at refreshing or updating their skills after some time out of the industry or maternity leave.

Necessary tools and equipment will be provided during

the training, with tutors available to contact for ongoing support.
